About Dayo

 Dayo N Dance Contemporary Performance Company is an event performance company that specializes in concert-style, event performances. Created in 2014 by Ebony Ingram and Dominique Atwood, Dayo is Yoruba for the phrase 'Joy arrives in' (Dayo N Dance: joy arrives in dance). Dominique and Ebony were determined to create a company that successfully facilitated fellowship between dancers in the company, artists in our global community and our audiences. In addition, we bring the technical refinement, physical prowess, and concert/commerical aesthetic of professionalism to new and untapped spaces. We invest in the artistry, pushing our own limits and challenging our understanding of "dance spaces and audiences".
