Summertime with Dayo

This has been such an exciting and prosperous summer for the company. Most of us spent our summers in movement whether teaching children, training our own bodies or performing. Our biggest opportunity came from Darryl Haley, with Music @ the Monuments, where we performed twice a month along with local music artists. It was a blast and a challenge we were so eager to meet. Dominique spent her summer with Deeply Rooted in Chicago, Il. She successfully faced the challenge of serving her role as Artistic Director all the way from Chicago, Il. She also spent her down time teaching at Ballet Chicago!
Michael, Tyra and I spent our summer at Princess Mhoon Dance institute's Summer Dance Institute. We worked together to create an overwhelmingly fun experience for the kids! Parents were able to experience their children's joy every week at the Friday showcase. We encouraged the developing dancers to not only dance, but to create and giveback.
Speaking of giving back, we complete our first Passion Project on August 2nd! That means you still have time to support! The dancers at Princess Mhoon Dance Institute truly made a difference with their huge donations, along with other people in the Dayo community.
